Go see 110 in the Shade staring the effervescent Natalie Wheeler (you thought Audra McDonald was good . . .) at the Hale Center Theater. Be treated to a cast that boasts not only Wheeler (a voice like a string of smooth pearls) but veteran actor Marvin Payne and dancer John Graham.

If you really want to do it up right: go to Pizzeria 712 before the show. Get the Speck (I am telling you). After the show, discuss the moral of the play, the historical plot, or personal revelations at The Chocolate. I have said this before, I will say it again: the mini cupcakes are juuuuuust riiiiight.

In all, you will have had a lovely evening and only traveled a few blocks between all the spots.
